Default Sumner Meadows Doubles is Back!!!!!

The Sumner Meadows Doubles Tournament has been moved to Sunday February 8th.
This tournament is presented by Challenge Disc Golf and REDFIVE.
This is a bring-your-partner doubles tournament on a beautiful golf course.

One Round
Players Meeting at 9:30am
Start time 10am
Pro $60 (each player)
Am $45 (each player)

Only divisions available for both men and women are Pro Open, Pro Masters, Advanced, and Advanced Masters.

$20 from each player’s entry fee will go to the course for the greens fees and the use of the cart.

Some food will be available to purchase from the golf shop, but it is a small shop and should not be relied upon at this time to provide everyone with a meal. It is only one round but it is a long round, so be sure to pack a snack.

We are now starting our search for baskets. If you have a basket that we may use for the tournament, please contact me and let me know. It will be much appreciated.

There will be a flyer available at www.challengediscgolf.com early next week.

To sign up or ask a question, contact Mike Rideout at mkride2000@yahoo.com or (253) 224-5491.

This is going to be a fun tournament on a beautiful golf course. Don’t miss out.

Mike Rideout

Two questions:

Can you just show up and pay greens fees and play the course?
Mixed division?

The course will only be set up for the day of the tournament.

As of now, there are no plans to have a mixed division. If enough people show an interest, I will form a mixed division.

Mike

I meant on the day of the tournament. I want to come and play with my girlfriend but don't really feel like spending the extra $80 donation to the pro field. On a disc golf course I wouldn't mind but we're both short arms relative to those we'll have to play against.

This event was a blast. Go ahead and pre-register me for next year.
Thanks to the organizers of this event. I really enjoyed the look on the ball golfers face. I noticed some even stopped to watch and seemed to be interested as well.
