Default baskets in park on hwy 30 south of Rainier and Prescott Beach Co. park?

I drive up and down hwy 30 from Rainier to Portland a lot for work
and I often think that the park south of Prescott Beach would be a good spot for Disc golf

yesterday when I went by there, I seen 2 baskets
are they new?
or have I just not seen them?

next question is..... is there room to park a big truck there somewhere?

it helps if you spell Rainier correctly when searching DGCR (it didnt show up on the map)
is this Trojan then?

however 2nd question still applies..... room to park 75 feet of tanker?

sorry, i dont know the Portland area courses very well, having only been to Hornings hideout

Yes, this is Trojan. In Theory you could park a Tanker truck if you're a truck driver. I would just avoid parking it too close to Trojan facility. You might put the antenna's up on the security that still guards that old facility.

I wasn't aware that there was still security there. I would think you could park without any problem.

Default truck parking

i drive a 70-ft truck/trailer combo and have parked in a little turnout on the EASTbound lane side, just before the entrance to trojan. plenty of room to get off the road. not sure what you drive, but i wouldn't take my setup into the park itself.

I pulled into park a couple weeks ago, and seen the first parking lot on the left was gated
So I pulled over to the right side and thought about going in
But I chickened out, and did a u-turn right at that first gate

I'm in Longview frequently, if you PM me with a days warning I can meet you there. It's well worth playing, just bring a few predictable disposable discs to send confidently over the water holes.
