Default Any updates on SW Wash courses?

I heard rumors last year about two potential courses in Battleground, a maybe course in LaCenter, and hopes of a course in Camas. Anything happening at any of these?

On a seperate note, there is a great new park in East Vancouver that has an area suitable for a course. The park is at (172nd and 18th, 98682), and on the back side of the property there is a forrested area with a walking path. Everyone uses the unleashed dog area and the skate park here, but this area is always deserted. I petitioned for disc golf when they we taking community suggestions for the park, I guess that was decided against? Dont know if there is any hope to try again, but with the proximity of both an elementary and middle school nearby, willing contributors and volunteers (me and my buddies), and local area DG interest I think this could be a source of park upkeep (DG'rs take care of courses for the most part), possible revenue (donation boxes), and free security for the park? A nice plus is that there are public bathrooms nearby. Anyone willing to channel their inner legislator?

Pacific Community Park: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/draw/?type=h&zoom=16&...Community+Park

The southern half is about 13 acres without the big field on the east side, or 20 acres if you include the field. Definitely enough space for at least a small course.

The course in La Center is Paradise Point State Park (9-holes)

The RV Park course is Pekin Ferry in Ridgefield, WA (9-Holes)

Vancouver also has three more 9-hole courses: Glenwood, WSUV, and Leverich. What we need is a well thought out, 18 hole competition level course. With Benches, Baskets, 6-7k feet of distance, and over par 54 for difficulty. Something like this may require pay to park, but I think it would be worth it.
