Will all of the proceeds be going to the open division at the Farragut Open or will you put the $$$ back into the divisions it came from?

Farragut Open is Sept. 17th-18th. Sean, the proceeds will be going to help purchase the players packs and the purse. I can't put it directly back into the divisions because Ams can't take cash payouts at a sanctioned event.

Sorry Kris, but the Farragut Open was actually moved back to the weekend of October 8,9 do to some constructive questioning by some out-of-state players since that particular weekend in Sept. was the same weekend as the MT State Championships in Missoula. It also turned out that with having the Flippen Z Disc the weekend before that they had wanted to move their event as well, so we moved Farragut back and FZD also followed. As for the payout, Jack has a plan for equal distribution for the $$$ raised by this tournament to go to the appropriate divisions. Kris, added cash to an amateur division can happen but will just be paid out as non-cash (script, plastic, etc). So no, the proceed from the Cherry Hill Fundraiser will not be only going to pad the pro purse. So like I stated before (I think in a different thread) that everyone who's planning on playing Farragut should play this tourney as well because the added cash will be divided accordingly. The flyer for the FO has been printed but not distributed, I know Jack has it posted at Rapid Fire Plastics and will fill out the sanctioning agreement soon so will make registration available on the PDGA website as well. Also, the NIDGC President - Ben Squires- will be spearheading the sponsorship/fundraising campaign for us this year so if you know any sponsors that you know would like to donate or any people/players who would like to donate get in contact with him or if you can get him holler at me.

Count me in then! I'm really looking forward to the Farragut open, and I'm all for fattening that purse a lil bit.

This event is rapidly approaching!! Scott Wardian is running the CTP event, and he has a LOT of prizes for it! One of them will be a new Cryztal FLX Buzz!

I will also be donating a new Glo Champ Wraith and new Super Color ESP Surge from my own collection of unused discs.May try to get the NIDGC to pitch in and sweeten up the CTP pot a little too.

On a side note - I just landed another really nice cash sponsor to the Farragut Open list of sponsors. BIG THANKS to Dr. Michael McDonald, MD, orthopaedic surgeon, and the entire Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists group. Once again proving why they are the best orthopaedic surgeon group in town

This tournament was a great success (until my second round). I had a blast and want to thank all that made it happen...Kris C for running it. Jack and Scott for helping make it happen. Ben Squires and his whole crew for being dedicated enough to run the grueling top section and change all the baskets around. The NIDGC for everything they did for me. Thanks guys, great job!
