The closest camping you're going to find will be at Illahee state park. Which is close to Fairgrouds and NAD, not walking distance by any means.

There is also Scenic beach state park which is a 20 minute drive away from NAD.

Also, there is Kitsap Memorial Park which is a little further north but a nice camping area.

Scenic Beach and Kitsap Memorial are both great Hood Canal fronting parks with great sunsets. Illahee state park (main Sound side with campground far away from the shore) should be checked on first, as I believe it may have been "mothballed" with a locked gate last I recalled. I'd recommend Scenic Beach myself. More "rustic" opportunities might exist in the Green Mountain state forest or Tahuya state forest lands, but you'll have to share with bikers and dirt bikes.

Quick update: My local sources tell me the mothballing of Illahee state park never materialized as threatened. But again, check first.

I just received word today that the fairgrounds will be opening up camping. There are no hook ups for RV's but nice tent sites. The area is just north of Gordon fields adjacent to the course. They would like people to register by next Thursday and the cost is $10.00 per night. If you are interested let me know and I can contact the county to let them know people are interestd.

Play open and then you only play it once.

Scott said they should be set by the end of the weekend so that people can know what course to show up to.

Although the pools had a preliminary setup, they are now going to be set up this way.....

Open Men, Open Women, Pro Masters and Advanced Men will now be in the pool that will start at NAD on Saturday, play Fairgrounds Sat Afternoon and NAD on Sunday Morning before heading to Fairgrounds for Final nine and payout.

All other divisions will start at Fairgrounds on Saturday morning, play NAD on Saturday afternoon and be back at Farigrounds for Sunday morning and stay there for final nine skins and payout.

Coolio? Great! Now if you haven't signed up yet, git'er done as it is filling quick and you don't want to be the one left out in the cold....

Later,
Scott Papa

There will be plenty of folks to help get you back and forth between courses.

Oooooh, please remember that the division you are signing up for is NOT based on your ability to whine but on your disc golf prowess. Wait, I guess Feldberg could be World Champ either way (I know Dave, I am always working you, come on now and just have some fun with us.....)

Later,
Papa

Hey Scott or anyone else,

Are there player packs? IF so, do you know what they are? I am guessing there are CFR discs for sale?
