LOL! Thanks! I only started really playing last spring but I have been practicing with my boyfriend and friends every chance I get and since I've started strength training, I've noticed that I've been able to handle certain discs much better than before. For example, my Flex Surge SS, I used to shank that forehand drive all the time, now I can get more distance, not as much as I would like but I can get it to go in the direction I want it to go, it's so cool! I'm going to start participating in tournaments this year and see how I rank.

I just re-read this thread to see what disc and weights you ladies are throwing for mids

I feel like allisons moving up in her game a little, and would get some benefit from some slightly heavier mids

her mids right now are
dx 147 stingray
dx 148 shark

she is also starting to use her dx 175 xd (she got from chick flick) more as an approach

I was mostly looking at replacing the shark- with maybe a buzzz, buzzz ss, or a roc
but im having a hard time deciding on how much heavier she should go
and having a hard time finding a buzzz ss in the low 160s
which I think would be best at this point

Star Orc 156g

Mid range/fairways:

Star TL 161g
ESP 2010 Ace Race 145g to 150g
ESP Buzzz 168g

Putters:
Star XD 174g
SS Wizard 174g

The biggest difference is the weights of disc which I use more 150g to 160g expect for Buzzz and putters. I see most of the players have back up discs, and I do have back up discs but it is in other bag which I bring with my bag.
For fun...as of now, my bag had changed since last time I posted...

150g BSF Blizzard Katana
139g Blizzard Wrath
150g Star Sidewinder
161g Star Orc

161-163 Z Glo Stalker
160 KC Pro Cheetah
153 Opto Diamond

168g Sparkle Aftershock
175 Star XD

175g SS Wizard

i bought her a 162 Pro-D buzzz and she likes it--straight as an arrow

the other big change was, she lost her 151 star chick flick sidewinder
so she is using a 162 star leopard for now

making her 151 opto diamond her go to driver

heck, yeah, michelle!!! makes me feel pretty dang amazing that i get a shout out for how rad you are... hanleys sure do love navas...

i would be interested to see how it treated you to up the weights on a couple of your discs... i'm thinking specifically your putters (i throw light, but my xds are 170s... i've got a 165 layin around somewhere that somehow maybe we could hook you up with to try out)... and i bet also you could rock a 150/60ish leopard... mine's a 159 glow and it's easily my fav disc these days.

you amazing, girl!
