This is such a non-issue. Stumptown built the course so for the first tourney there they decided to open it to members first as a thank you and benefit of membership. Announced months in advance. Great idea, I think. Made me become a member, which I should have done long ago.

Is someone stopping other groups or clubs from running a tournament at Blue Lake? Is this going to be the precedent for all Stumptown tourneys at Blue Lake or elsewhere? Is this really that big of a deal? Pretty sure the answer to all that is no.

Why do people feel like they should tell clubs how to run their events? Not just in this case, but seems like a chronic thing in disc golf. Nothing unfair about a club offering members a benefit. And everyone had plenty of time to put up $10 to join the club.
