Whiners in the Woods B-Tier may 15-16

Hey there disc golfers! The Washington series is returning to the West side of the sound for a great B-Tier event on May 15 and 16th. The tourney will be held at both NAD and the Kitsap Fairground courses. For more info you can go to http://www.wsdga.org and download a flyer. You can also sign up online at PDGA.com.

This event is being co-TD'ed by Paul Wright and myself and we are planning on busting out all the stops to make this an event to remember. We have a bunch of cool fundraising discs coming (we will tell you, just not quite yet) that will be available for purchase at the Dalaiwood course pro shop or through Paul Wright or myself. Not to mention the folks out here are busting major butt to get the courses in the best shape they have ever been in. If you have played them before, you are in for some surprises. And if you haven't played them before, you need to prepare yourself to be tested in ways you haven't been tested before.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me here on the forum, through PM or my email at spapa@centurytel.net. You can also reach me bu phone at (253) 853-1914. Stand by for more info and get ready to head west for a great time.

Hope to wee you out here, sign up soon and let's get ready for the wood!

Later,
Scott Papa

This is going to be a fun one! :yay: Can't wait to finally have a semi-home course tournament. Your going to want to bring all of your different shots.

Oh ya! I almost forgot. This is going to be a fun/cool final nine.

Looking forward to capturing some action shots on film for this one as photographer. In the meantime, work on your putting form to show off your "best side"

I tried to sign my wife up but there is no option for Intermediate women. But when I looked at the registration there was a woman signed up in that division....

Good thing they are 400 miles apart

PuttsRrad April 26th, 2010 07:39 AM

if you take money with a 865 rating, you can't be AM anymore - fyi

sillybizz April 26th, 2010 07:51 AM

I don't think I'll be having any problems taking money in open with a 865 rating! I'm playing Intermediate and that may be a stretch!

I think this is false. Apparently you can take cash and compete in amateur divisions until your rating hits 970.

Went out to NAD over the weekend and the course is looking pretty sweet! There is now a blue teepad for hole 3 on the other side of the path by hole 1 (blue). Also there were two pads that had some concrete added to them for different pin placements (so now you dont have to throw from the dirt.) I cant remember what hole number that is, but it is the short uphill shot with a tight window.
